UP Hike for Charity Itinerary 7 days (days can be altered)

Sunday: Travel to the cabin (7 hours North), get settled in (Resort Cabin in the Woods)

Monday: Copper Peak to Lake Superior Hike, 7 miles, 5+ waterfalls, mostly downhill, beautiful views, river crossings, finishes at the beach. (Black River hike, Ottawa National Forest)

Tuesday: East River to Cabin to West River, 7 miles, 5+ waterfalls, erratic terrain, beautiful views, river crossings, Lake Superior beach breaks. (Presque Isle River hike, Porcupine Mountains State Park )

Wednesday: Governess Trail to Lake of the Clouds, 7 miles, erratic and cliff terrain, beautiful views, Lake Superior beach break. (Porcupine Mountains State Park)

Thursday: Lilypond Trail & Tower, 7 miles, pond & river crossings, mild terrain, tower climb & view, Lake Superior beach break. (Porcupine Mountains State Park)

Friday: Copper Peak Adventure Ride, After an 800-foot chair lift ride to the crest of the hill take a thrilling 18-story elevator to the main observation deck. From there, the truly fearless can walk an additional 8 stories to the top starting gate. At the top, enjoy the highest, most awe-inspiring, unobstructed vista in the Midwest overlooking over 2500 square miles, 3 states and even Canada on a clear day.

Saturday: Travel home (7 hours South)

***These hikes will be guided by an experienced hiker & Veteran with over 40 years in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and over 25 years of training Law Enforcement and Military Personnel. Each evening you will have the opportunity to hike to the top of the hill and enjoy the views, make smores around the camp fire, read a book or just relax and enjoy the truly beautiful stars above.***
